Soldier arrested from Meerut Cantonment with ‘contacts’in Pakistan

Indian Army’s intelligence unit has arrested a soldier on charges of sharing vital information to his contact in Pakistan. Posted in signal regiment in Meerut cantonment , this jawan belongs to Uttarakhand , a nearly state.

The soldier, whose identity has not been revealed because of obvious reasons, was sending information through What’s App and other means to his contact in neighbour country . According to information available , as soon as inputs about soldier’s suspicious activities were received , his actions were put under scrutiny. He was arrested recently and was being interrogated by different agencies.

Investigation reveals thet he was in touch with his Pakistaani contact for over six months . Information is being gathered to know about his network .
