Recruitment for 55,000 constable posts in paramilitary forces begins from July 24

The Staff Selection Commission has begun inviting applications for recruitment of nearly 55,000 vacant posts of Constables ( general duty) from today. The vacant posts are from BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF etc. The SSC which is responsible for recruitments in paramilitary forces especially at the level of constable, had postponed the process for submission of the online application for the year 2018, which was scheduled to begin from July 21, due to some technical problem.

However, there is a facility of one time registration on the SSC website and submission of online application can be easily.Interested candidates are required to register afresh for the same.

More vacancies for men

For men, more than 47,000 are vacant posts while for women 7,500 posts are vacant .

How to pay fee:

For fee payment for the general test, candidates can pay through challan of SBI at the designated branches of the bank within the banking hours up to August 28, provided the challan has been generated before the closing date and time for receipt of applications, i.e. August 24 (5 pm).

How to apply:
For online registration, candidates will have to visit the official website of SSC: ssc.nic.in. The criteria for applying for SSC GD Constable 2018, candidate must be at least class 10 passed. Minimum age must be 19 and the candidate should not be above 23-years-old.
