Punjab Police Recruitment Board has invited applications for recruitment to the post of constable in the districts and armed corps of Punjab Police. The application process will start from March 14 and the last date for submitting the application form is April 4 , 2024. Interested candidates can submit applications through the official website www.punjabpolice.gov.in.
Punjab Police has started the recruitment drive to fill 1746 constable posts. Of these posts, 970 posts are in the District Police Cadre and 776 are in the Armed Police Cadre. Of the total posts, 570 posts are reserved for women.
To be recruited as a constable in Punjab Police, the age of the candidate should be minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years.Educational qualification:
Candidates must have passed at least 10+2 (Class 12) examination from a recognized educational board/university.
Selection process in three stages:
Phase I will consist of computer based and multiple choice question (MCQ) type papers. Paper-I and Paper-II, of which Paper-II will be qualifying in nature.
Phase II will consist of Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening Test, and Phase III (Document Verification).
