Inspector Neha Chauhan, in-charge of women’s police station in Haryana’s Panchkula district, died in a road accident. This accident happened today in the morning (29 April 2023) when she was returning after a raid in Wardha district of Maharashtra. The police team went to arrest an accused wanted in a criminal case . Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Savinder, Head Constable Rajkumar, Bittu and Sunny were injured in the accident.

This accident happened in Panjra village of Wardha district around 7 am when SHO Inspector Neha Chauhan was returning back to Panchkula with the police team. The Bolero vehicle , in which this team was traveling , collided with a truck and crashed. SHO Inspector Neha Chauhan, in-charge of the women’s police station, died on the spot. The injured have been taken to the nearby government hospital for treatment. A police team has been sent from Panchkula to Wardha along with Inspector Sukhbir.

Haryana Police Inspector Neha Chauhan was a popular police officer. She has also been a good hockey player. Apart from being in-charge of the women’s police station, she was also the police welfare officer in Panchkula. Inspector Neha Chauhan used to take care of the family as well. She was also the mother of three children.

During the ongoing war against the Coronavirus, Panchkula’s women’s police station SHO Neha Chauhan handled two fronts simultaneously – Law and order in the police station area and on the other hand helping the needy people in these difficult times. has been preparing and distributing food to 300 to 400 needy people daily in her police station.

As hockey player :

Inspector Neha Chauhan was an international hockey player. She use to prepare and distribute meal to 300 to 400 people daily in her police station. Neha Chauhan won the team gold medal in the Under-18 Women’s Asian Hockey Federation Cup held in Hong Kong in 2000.
