Bareilly of Uttar Pradesh is also on the way to become a commissionerate. The increasing population, resulting increase in crimes and efforts to deal with it indicate something similar. Working on a new plan the rural area of Bareilly district has been divided into two zones. Each zone to be handled by a Superintendents of Police rank officer. Presently Mukesh Chand Meena is the SP in-charge of Bareilly (rural). Now apart from him, another young officer Manush Pareek has also been posted here as SP.
Bareilly Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan had sent the proposal to divide the rural area into South and North zones some time ago to the Uttar Pradesh Police Headquarters in Lucknow. The proposal is recently approved and accordingly IPS Manush Pareek has been posted at newly created position.
Mukesh Chandra Mishra has been given the responsibility of Baheri, Nawabganj and Highway Circle as SP (North). Mr. Mishra’s office will now be in the Crime Branch building near Jhumka Tirahe.
Manush Pareek will now be the SP of the other part of Bareilly ( South) . Mr. Pareek has been given the responsibility of CO Circle Mirganj, Amla and Faridpur. Mr. Pareek will work from the present office of SP ( rural) located in the SSP office complex.
Who is Manush Pareek:
Manush Pareek, the new IPS officer appointed in Bareilly (South), is originally a resident of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan and is a 2020 batch IPS officer of UP Cadre. Manush Pareek first served in Ghaziabad as a trainee IPS. These days he was looking after the work of CO in Gorakhpur as ASP. In order of promotion, he has been posted in Bareilly district.
Prior to Manush Pareek, ASP Gyandev was sent to this post in Bareilly, but he did not take charge here. After this, Pareek has been given the responsibility in his place.
