In a major reshuffle/transfers of Indian Police Officers (IPS), the Home Ministry has transferred S Sundari Nanda, IPS 1988 batch and posted as DG of Police (DGP) in Puducherry to Delhi. She is replaced by The Director General of Police Mizoram, Balaji Srivastva, IPS 1988 batch. In Mizoram, DGP, Arunachal Pradesh, B K Singh, IPS 1988 batch, will take charge as DGP whereas RP Upadhyaya of the 1991 batch and the Additional DGP of Arunchal Pradesh has been asked to take charge as the DGP of the state till further orders, stated the official release of the MHA.
In Delhi, Lt Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal, transferred Ajay Kashyap the Indian Police Services (IPS) officer of 1985 batch of Arunachal, Goa, Mizoram and Union Territories (AGMUT), the DG Delhi Prisons and posted as Director General of Home Guards. Sandeep Goel, IPS 1989 batch of AGMUT cadre, currently posted as Special Commissioner of Police (Law & Order) North Zone to replace him as the new DG Delhi Prisons.
Ajay Kashyap will replace J K Sharma, IPS of the 1982 batch of AGMUT cadre, who was DG, Home Guards. Sharma has been transferred as DG, Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA).
