
Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Krishna on Thursday met the General Officer Commanding-in-C (GOC-in-C) of Central Command, Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta at the Army Headquarters in Lucknow. The purpose of this meeting was to implement measures to improve coordination between the police and the army.
The meeting focused on enhancing operational synergy between the Indian Army and Uttar Pradesh Police, with an emphasis on sharing real-time intelligence, joint response protocols and coordinated disaster preparedness framework.
DGP Rajiv Krishna posted about this on his official X handle along with a photo of the meeting. “We explored ways to deepen Army-Police coordination through real-time intelligence sharing, joint response protocols and disaster preparedness frameworks. The meeting reaffirmed our shared commitment to seamless inter-agency cooperation for a safer, stronger India,” the post said.
The Indian Army’s Central Command also shared this update on X with a photo. “The two discussed ways to strengthen Army-Police coordination, with a focus on real-time intelligence sharing and integrated response mechanisms for internal security and disaster management,” the Central Command posted on X.
“The meeting reaffirmed commitment to seamless inter-agency coordination to strengthen national security preparedness,” it said, adding, “They reaffirmed the shared commitment of both forces to seamless inter-agency cooperation for a safer, stronger India.
