This is another opportunity for people interested in joining the Indian Army. The Directorate General of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (DGEME) has opened registration for new recruitment for Group C positions. Candidates joining the Army through this recruitment will be posted at various Army bases across the country.
Applications are being accepted since October 4, 2025. Interested candidates must apply offline. This means they must fill out the application form and send it by post to the designated address. The deadline for submitting forms is October 24, 2025.
This recruitment drive will fill various positions in the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers. These positions include lower division clerk (LDC), fireman, vehicle mechanic, fitter, welder, tradesman, cook, and electrician. A total of 194 vacancies have been announced.
Candidates must have passed the 10th or 12th standard from a recognized board. For technical positions, an ITI certificate in the relevant trade is required. The minimum age for applying is 18 years and the maximum is 25 years. Candidates from reserved categories will get benefit of age relaxation as per government regulations.
Application Process: First, candidates should download the application form from the recruitment notification. Fill in your information clearly in handwritten form. Paste your passport-size photo in the appropriate place and affix a ₹5 postal stamp.
