Border Security Force (BSF)lost a sub inspector Mohammad Imteyaz during cross border firing at India Pakistan border in Jammu on Saturday. Few jawans were also injured and they have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
The incident happend at the BSF’s border post in RS Pura sector of Jammu Kashmir. BSF jawans showed bravery and retaliated during the heavy shelling by Pakistan. Sub Inspector Mohammad Imteyaz succumbed to his injuries and made supreme sacrifice while other injured jawans have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
The Border Security Force (BSF) paid tribute to Sub Inspector Mohammad Imtiaz in a post on its official X handle ,” We salute the supreme sacrifice made by BSF braveheart Sub Inspector Md Imteyaz in service of the nation on 10 May 2025 during cross border firing along the International Boundary in R S Pura area, District Jammu. While leading a BSF border out post, he gallantly led from the front.”
