A former US Marine, Brian C. McGinnis got injured during a scuffle with the police in a Senate Armed Services subcommittee session when police personnel forcefully removed him from the room. Expressing his anger over the US Support to Israel in war with Iran , Brian C. McGinnis was continuously shouting and questioning the US policy. Montana Senator Tim Sheehy  also got involved  himself in removing Brian McGinisis.

The incident reveals that many Americans are against the US  policy for supporting Israel in the war against Iran . Voices on this issue are being raised within military circles as well. A segment of soldiers and veterans are questioning why America’s sons and daughters should be sent to war for Israel. People have been posting videos and comments expressing such sentiments on social media, especially after this incident, on Brian C. McGinnis’s X-account.

Videos of this entire incident are going viral. The Senate Armed Services subcommittee was in session to discuss the US National Defence Strategy and military readiness during the escalating war with Iran. Meanwhile, Brian C. Maginnis suddenly stood up from his chair and shouted that America does not want to fight this war for Israel. In the video, he can be heard saying, “America does not want to send its sons and daughters to war for Israel.

Brian McGnisis was dressed in a military uniform. McGinnisis served four years in the US Marine Corps, including a deployment to Iraq. He is also a firefighter. McGanisis is also contesting  for the North Carolina Senate on the Green Party ticket.

Following the commotion, Capitol Hill police forcibly removed him from the room and tried to drag him out. While he was being dragged, Republican Senator Tim Sheehy arrived. He also joined the police in pushing McGinnis out of the door. McGinnis became stuck between the doors, but police officers continued to pull him out from the room . This incident lasted 20-30 seconds. Someone also heard  shouting in the video that the former Marine had a broken arm. Police arrested McGinnis and transported him to George Washington University Hospital for treatment. He has been charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, and three counts of unlawful demonstration.

Senator Tim Sheehy of Montana, who helped police escort Magennisis from the hall,  belongs to President Donald Trump’s Republican Party. Sheehy is also a former Navy SEAL and a Republican member of the Armed Services panel.

Capitol Police say an irate Brian C. Magennisis began unlawfully protesting during the hearing. He put everyone in a dangerous situation by violently resisting and fighting officers’ attempts to remove him from the room.
