Rakshak world foundation organised forest adventure run in Ghaziabad

Rakshak world foundation on Sunday morning organised  forest adventure run in city forest resort in Ghaziabad, few kilometres from Delhi. More than 100 participants took part in the unique initiative which was in line with the Modi government’s ambitious Fit India programme.
The run was flagged off by Chief guest Dr Purshottam Lal, Metro Hospital head. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Lal underscored the need of being fit and healthy in life.He appreciated the efforts of Rakshak world foundation in organising the run.
The forest adventure run was unique in many ways. Participants ran for 1.5 km and faced several obstacles.There was no road, no track and no pollution in the forest area where the AQI level was very low compared to other parts of Ghaziabad.
The participants included defence and police personnel, Nation cadet corps, school students,, house wives and media persons. Misaki fitness and dance organised a warm up and exercise session for the enthusiastic  participants. The mood was upbeat and participants and others danced on popular hindi and punjabi songs before the run was flagged off. Experts also gave yoga tips.
There are three groups who took part in the run.The run was organised by the Rakshak World Foundation. Amar Ujala was the media partner. Metro hospital and heart institute, Urban foundation, captain bakers, Bonn, Dr Arya’s medoptic, the comfort management’s ,Misaki fitness and dance and Uttarakhand running club,DLF public school, Divya sanjeevniyoga, greenfield public school, creamy fun and hash 69 sponsored  the run.
