IPS officer KK Bishnoi (Krishna Kumar Bishnoi),who recently went viral on social media due to his wedding, has been transferred from Sambhal and appointed as the police chief (SP) of Bijnor district. He married IPS officer Anshika Verma in March 2026. KK Bishnoi hails from Rajasthan. IPS Anshika Verma had gained popularity during her posting in Bareilly. Bishnoi belongs to the 2018 batch, while Anshika is from the 2021 batch of the UP cadre. It is reported that the two met and became friends while posted in Gorakhpur.
Charu Nigam is another IPS officer on this transfer list who frequently makes headlines for various reasons; her fearlessness and unyielding nature have earned her popularity. Charu Nigam, a 2014-batch IPS officer, has been transferred from the post of Superintendent of Police (SP) of Sultanpur district to the UP Police Service ‘112’ unit. She had barely completed six months in Sultanpur. Her batchmate, Vineet Jaiswal, has now been appointed as the new SP of Sultanpur.
