In response to the Pahalgam massacre, the Indian forces launched a missile attack in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and some parts of Pakistan under Operation Sindoor at around 1 am on the night of May 6-7. Many terrorist hideouts were demolished during military action at these places from where anti-India terrorist activities were conducted. Some of these were also training camps of terrorists. Many people were killed in this attack, which was confirmed by Pakistan itself.
It is said that many family members of terrorist Azhar Masood were among the people killed during the initial attack under Operation Sindoor. Enraged by this, Pakistan retaliated to take revenge. The Pakistani army fired in Poonch-Rajouri, areas along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, in which 16 people lost their lives. The Indian Army also gave a befitting reply to this. Along with this, the Pakistani army also tried to attack the Indian Military bases. Most of these attacks were successfully stopped without any loss to the Indian side.
Seeing the situation of full-fledged war with Pakistan, India has made its preparations. It is understood that various points were discussed in the meeting to take stock of the preparations and to assess the impact of the war.
