Air Force Chief felicitated UPSC topper Ishita Kishore

Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhary, Chief of the Indian Air Force, felicitated Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination 2022 topper Ishita Kishore today. Ishita Kishore has been an alumnus of the Air Force Bal Bharti School, which is run by the Indian Air Force.

 

Ishita Kishore also has a deep connection with the Indian Air Force as her father was also an officer in the Indian Air Force. Ishita , a good football player , also participated in the Subroto Cup and represented India.

 

Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari presented an Air Force memento to Ishita Kishore, appreciated her for topping the UPSC exam and congratulated her on this achievement. He wished Ishita Kishore a bright future ahead.

 

Ishita’s father was a Wing Commander in the Indian Air Force but he is no longer in this world. Ishita at a very young age lost her father. Mother Jyoti Kishore has raised Ishita well.

 

Ishita was born in Hyderabad but brought up in Bihar. She completed her schooling from the Air Force Bal Bharti School of the Air Force. She came to Delhi for college studies and did Economics Honors in 2017 from Delhi University’s Shri Ram College of Commerce.

 

Ishita Kishore achieved great success in the UPSC exam in her third attempt. 26 years old Ishita Kishore, lives in Noida, Uttar Pradesh and has expressed her desire to be given the UP cadre.

 

A total of 933 candidates passed in the UPSC Civil Service Exam 2022, out of which 613 were men and 320 were women . But interestingly, 14 of the top 25 are women.

 

It is notable that to become IAS, IPS, IFS etc., one has to pass the civil service examination conducted by UPSC, which is considered as the toughest examination given for any government service. UPSC Civil Services Examination is held in three stages – Prelims, Mains and Interview. Many candidates do not get selected due to lagging behind in the interview round.
