CRPF organised free medical camp for locals in Pohru village
Central Reserve Police Force , under its civic action programme, organized a free medical camp at Pohru village under Tehsil BK Pora of Budgam district in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir . Approximately 300 people, including senior citizens , women and children visited the camp  for medical assistance.
 The 29 Battalion of  CRPF organized this  medical camp  at Govt Middle School situated in S.K. Bagh Mohala, for the  benefit of the local residents.

According to officials, the Medical Camp received overwhelming response from residents of nearby villages also. Camp was organized under the supervision of   Commandant of 29th battalion Pradipta Kumar Sahu ,  Officers, doctors, medical staff and men of 29 Bn alongwith a team of doctors from 61st   and 117 Battalion of  CRPF attended the villagers. .
 DIG of Srinagar South  Mathew A John and Dr. R.C. Bishariya (DIG Medical) from Srinagar Group Centre  visited the medical camp and also interacted with the villagers. Tahira Banu , the Deputy Sarpanch of the S K Bagh Mohalla and her team put  efforts in mobilising people.

” This effort has been appreciated by all the villagers. It is a small effort towards winning over the hearts and minds of the local people.,” said an official .
