The Chief Guest of the event Lt General Adosh Kumar , Director General Artillery, spoke about the critical role played by the officers like Major Dwivedi and other artillery officers in the Kargil war. He also appreciated the role being played by Metamorphes towards highlighting the deeds of such bravehearts.

Mrs Anjali Karkare, General Secretary of War Widows Associations was guest of Honor. Mrs Bhawna Dwivedi, wife of Major Dwivedi and their daughters, Dr Neha Dwivedi and Deeksha Dwivedi, who have written books on their father, were also present and talked about Major CB Dwivedi in an interactive session.
Other dignitaries who attended the function were Mrs Damyanti Tambey (President war Widows Association), Mrs Veena Naravane Author and wife of former Indian Army Chief Gen Manoj Narawane, USI Director General BK Sharma , Writer Ambreen Zaidi, Col Romil Birthwal Boots and Crampons Mountaineer and many others both serving and retired Defence officers.
